It probably has parasites of some kind; ringworm, mites or a fungal infection could all cause hair loss. Ringworm would also cause scabs. You should probably take it to the vet considering many skin infections can be communicable if you have more than one pet. Hair loss can also be an indication of a more serious problems and early treatment is often key.
