 Yu-Gi-Oh Card Question? I have a friend who uses Injection Fairy Lily and Des Wombat in his deck. Does Des Wombat cause you not to pay the 2000 life points for the Fairy Lily? If this is true is there any proof online? Hey If you check out http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Injection_Fairy_Lily it states that to activate her effect you must pay 2000 life points. When you pay a cost, in this case the 2000 lifepoints, it is as i mentioned, a cost. A cost is not damage, just "payment" to do something. Also Des Wombats effect states that "any damage you would take from the EFFECT of a card becomes zero, and this is a cost for IFL not damage.
